Gothic arch - History

I wanted to get this done on Sunday but problems with my printer and the fact that it has taken almost a week to get my computer straightened out has put me slightly behind in everything art! When your computer guru, no matter who it is, tells you that he wants you to get the newest upgrade for your OS, don't let him do it til he knows what's going to be affected!!! LOL

Anyways, all is straightened out and not only can I print but I can scan too. heeee Here's my effort for my dear friend Heather's challenge on Gothic Arches this week. Congrats Heather, it was a good one.

Henry and his wives! I love this! and just their heads! Great sense of humor behind this very serious looking piece! Wonderful Arch!!

. . .and as for the OS, I learned the same lesson the hard way, too.. .same goes even for software upgrades. I sympathize. Mine was a bear to fix, also.

Hi Mary-Beth!! Certainly a great English History lesson with your arch!! TFS and thanks for your lovely comment about my Nanna - that she was beautiful. You probably know about the 'stiff upper lip' of the English people, especially in that time period (early 1920's) - I don't think that that was something anybody ever said to her - I wish she could have read your comment!!
