Last year a
dear friend of mine whose blog I don't get to often enough, had a giveaway for these plain white 'gloves' to alter. I was lucky enough to win one. When I got it, I had no idea what to do with it so I put it in a safe place til inspiration struck.
Fast forward to this past weekend when I found it in it's 'safe place'. With Autumn coming and the leaves are already falling here, probably due to the lack of rain more than fall imminent, inspiration finally hit. I used Distress inks to do the background, VersaFine Onyx and Sepia for the clock and I don't know if you can see it in the scans but there's a flower flourish I stamped in Encore gold, LOVE gold!!!! But I attached the 'silk' leaves with Modge Podge which was too wet and messed up the distress inks making them blotchy. Lesson learned. I had a lot of fun doing this. Thank you T for the opportunity. I called it 'The Hands of Time', original huh??? LOL
