had fun with this one

These are for dcm's Friday dare of WINGS

Hiya Everyone !
So this week is my turn to set the dare (Jane)...So without further ado here is is
WINGS!
You can pick any subject, any colour but the card has to incorporate WINGS of some sort-so you can do - butterflies, angels, fairies, insects,birds........anything basically if it has wings!

AND this week is a special week because we have a SPOT PRIZE up for grabs !! All you have to do is show us a card for this dare and you'll go in a draw for a spot prize from the DCM team- we will announce the winner on next weeks dare launch (Friday 11th May) So come on- you really have no excuse now not to join in.

Thank you Jane for encouraging me to play with some of my favourite things ... faeries!

This card was fun. I decided to try an acetate card. not very hard but I must remember to measure properly the next time, for the size of paper and binding holes. In the second picture I put an arrow at the top edge and side edge of the back so you might see the acetate. I also forgot to check the back of the paper when I cut it. I used a piece that has the paper info on it. I could always hide that. The embossing of the ink was a bit iffy. I'll have to remember to use my anti static bag next time as e.p. stuck all over so it's not a nice clean front. But hey, it's my 1st and all in all, I learned a lot! LOL

Excellent Mary-Beth!! I had to laugh at the wording on the back of the paper. That is so MY luck! lol Ahh, but we learn, huh? Looks cool!

I've not seen acetate used like this before. It's a lovely effect.
